Our new subdivision has an architectural review board, which currently consists of the three men who developed the land. Not knowing what to expect, it was with some trepidation that we sought approval for our round house.
We spent considerable time putting together a 16-page bound document showing the site plan, house plans and elevations, siding color, and landscaping plans. It was very thorough, with color photos and diagrams.
We personally delivered the document late on a Thursday afternoon, then went home to wait. Imagine our surprise and delight when an approval letter arrived in Friday's mail – just 22 hours later!
Clearly our diligence paid off, as can be seen in this partial copy of the letter.
